Christen + Shaphen = Happily Married

Christen & Shaphen were a couple of the sweetest people I've met! They got married at Beacon Baptist Church, the church where they met and went to high school together! Although they were a little on the shy side...when it came to being together, they were so full of love and affection for one another! After their ceremony and reception, I met them out at Fletcher Park, in Raleigh, for some bride & groom shots...and THIS is where they were most comfortable! I love to observe how people become so at ease when in the comfort of their soulmate's arms! It causes me to think more about how we become different people when around the one we're in love with...what a beautiful thing when someone else's love for us can cause us to change, and grow, and become the person we're made to be! What a beautiful image of what Christ's love does for us!

I was greatly blessed to be apart of Christen & Shapen's wedding day...I hope ya'll had a wonderful honeymoon at Niagra Falls!!! God bless you!

the bouquet toss was intense...look at all those little girls ready to catch!


but what was funny was that this little girl was standing waaayyy in the back...and that bouquet practically hit her in the head! It was hilarious cause she was so surprised to be the one who caught it!
